St. Joseph...
“Obstinacy and fear go hand-in-hand. Even though you may have no idea how you will accomplish all that you must, you will… if you walk in complete faith.”  St. Joseph

St. Joseph was the man. Even though he came from a pretty significant royal family, he chose to stay in the background and he always did what was asked of him. When he said yes to God, trust me he had no clue as to what he was getting into!
For starters, he took a pregnant Mary as his wife even though he knew she was with someone else’s child. He contemplated divorce; however, in those days, and maybe these, he knew she would have been stoned to death so he kept his vows. God eventually sent an angel to explain to Joseph that Mary was carrying the Christ Child. My guess is that he was probably happy he stayed with her after he heard that. Next, he was told to leave all of his belongings, take Mary and flee Egypt. He did without question and saved Jesus from certain death.
It’s nice to know that not only was Joseph a great husband but a great foster father to Jesus. He always put Jesus first and that is why he is considered the Patron Saint of Foster Children. He is also considered the patron saint of a few other things: The dying and of house selling. The dying because he died a peaceful death with those he loved around him and the why the patron saint of selling houses? Hello! He was a carpenter and what are houses made of??
Actually, as one story goes, it was because St. Theresa of Avila was trying to purchase land for her convent and she buried St. Joseph medals in the ground. Because of this, churches were built and the tradition stuck. To this day, St. Joseph is traditionally planted in the ground of the house being sold… upside down. (People to this day still find it appeasing to punish saints until their make good on their promises. They delight in putting them in closets and don’t let them out until the deed is done. Laugh if you want but I am so not kidding.) Good to know that he is stood upright once escrow is closed. (I often wonder why he is not known as the Patron saint of Headaches… that would be Saints: Theresa, Denis and Gemma. More on them later.) Then, he is dug up and given a special place in one’s new house and venerated.  Here is a simple prayer to petition St. Joseph for home-selling help:

“Dear St. Joseph, Patron Saint of (sometimes desperate) home sellers. (you know who you are!) Please help me to sell my home quickly and without any complications. I know that your love of family superseded any other thoughts. May I be blessed with good intentions for myself and for my family. Thank you.”

I have personally placed St. Joseph statues… upside down… in every home that I have ever had on the market. They have ALL sold. Remember, after he helps you, please don’t diss him… Dig him up and take him with you! Thank you St. Joseph.

P.S. I think God was very happy with Joseph. He is the first angel mentioned in the bible and the only human being to become an angel. He is known today as Angel Jophiel.

Ganesha...
“Where is your fear? Follow its trail like a dog on a hunt. Is it your mind that keeps you trapped? Free your mind and your body will follow.” Ganesha

It is believed by many that, “Without Ganesha, there is no success.” He is considered the Breaker of Obstacles. That is why his mantra is usually chanted before interviewing for a new job, purchasing any important object, signing contracts, etc.
He will help you find a way to go over, around or under any problem or help you materialize the best outcome in any situation. He will you remove fear as he did for me today. I use him every day to take me into a place of gratitude. I have felt great emotional shifts occur with the help of Ganesha.
The word GAM, pronounced GUM, is connected with Ganesha. Chant this foundation mantra with complete devotion and with an open heart and realized great possibilities. “Om Ganapatayei Namaha.” (Om and Salutations to Lord Ganesha.)
