"I have been called the Saint of Impossible Causes. By my standards, all is possible." St. Jude

St. Jude was one of Jesus's twelve apostles. He is not to be confused with "The Jude" as in Jesus's betrayer at the last supper. This Jude, or more commonly called Thaddeus, was a hard and vigilant worker who spread Jesus's work throughout the Middle East and even as far as southern Russia. He was of the Tribe of David and his mother Mary was Mary's cousin. (Apparently Mary was one of the top-ten names of those times.)

Because of the tireless work and letters he wrote to the early believers of the Church asking them to "keep the faith," we now ask St. Jude Thaddeus for help in seeming impossible situations. It is commonly believed that if you have a ma-jah problem... and I do mean ma-jah (Phu-leese, NO wimpy stuff for St. Jude) he will intercede on your behalf.

One of the caveats for St. Jude's help is that you must pray this prayer 9 times a day for 9 days in a row. This is known as a novena. Once your petition has been answered, you must publicly thank him by placing a note of thanks in a newspaper, or now days, on-line. Why you ask? By publishing a written testimony of gratitude, you testify affirm your faith just as St. Jude did when he wrote letters to the believers. Your letter is written proof and inspiration to others and it reminds us that in times of distress, you may turn to St. Jude for intercession.

A little tip... in order for this to work you must pray wholeheartedly and in complete faith. In other words, pray believing. Okay... here is the 9-time-a-day, for 9-days in a row, never-fail (their words, not mine) 9-1-1... the Novena to St. Jude:

St. Jude Thaddeus, worker of miracles and helper of hopeless causes, pray for me and grant me (your request here) and grant the requests of all who are seeking a spiritual intervention. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus pray for us. Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art thou amoung women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the time of our death. Amen.

P.S. If you think that keeping this novena for 9 days is too much then you do not want what you desire bad enough!
